1. Omni Grove Park Inn
A local historic landmark, the Omni Grove Park Inn is well-known as one of the best luxury hotels in Asheville. Built in 1913 by the legendary Edwin W Grove, the “Father of Modern Asheville,” this resort is an integral part of the city’s history (there is a self-guided tour you can take at the hotel).
Grove, who would spend his summers in Asheville to heal from recurrent bronchitis, built the resort with the idea of it being a haven where people could relax and return home feeling rejuvenated.
